Welcome to Balcorps Engineers, LLC

With more than 30 years of professional civil engineering experience, our practice provides comprehensive engineering services for infrastructure, land development, and water management projects. We specialize in transportation infrastructure, drainage systems, flood control, and heavy industrial construction, while also supporting residential and commercial development projects from planning through construction.

Our expertise includes hydrology and hydraulics analysis, roadway and bridge drainage design, floodplain and flood zone analysis, stormwater compliance including SWPPP and Construction General Permit (CGP) requirements, and water passage and drainage system design. We also provide septic system design and installation services, ensuring systems meet local, state, and environmental regulations while supporting long-term reliability and site performance.

In addition to infrastructure and water resource engineering, we assist clients with residential and commercial site redevelopment projects. Our services include site planning, grading and drainage design, utility coordination, permitting support, and land surveying to ensure projects move efficiently from concept through construction.

Our principal engineer served as a civil engineering advisor to the U.S. Army at Picatinny Arsenal, supporting the design and construction of critical industrial base infrastructure for ammunition manufacturing facilities. This work involves technical review and engineering guidance on specialized facilities including contaminated waste processors, chemical grinding facilities, closed-loop cooling systems, incinerators, lift and booster stations, neutralization basins, reservoirs, and discharge outfalls.

Additional project oversight includes underground utility systems, tank farms, steam and water distribution networks, laboratory construction, retaining walls, roadway and pavement systems, demolition operations, roofing systems, and deep foundations designed to support heavy industrial forging presses. Our role is to ensure that complex facilities are constructible, resilient, compliant with regulatory requirements, and capable of long-term reliable operation.

The firm is led by a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New Jersey, New York, California, and Arizona, and is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). By combining decades of field experience, technical engineering expertise, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, we deliver practical solutions for both large infrastructure projects and private development needs.
